The museum is named NTHU Jie Ying Heritage Museum and the building is funded by the philanthropic Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Tseng, TSMC‘s Education and Culture Foundation Chairman. The building was designed by  Fieldoffice architect Mr. Huang Sheng-Yuan to be a breathing feature blended into the forested part of the NTHU campus. It is expected to be completed in 2024.

Jie-Ying Heritage Museum provides a place for Taiwanese society to understand the past history and the current status of our co-existence. It is more than a storage building for the artifacts; it invites people to participate in discussing history, knowledge and culture and therefore become part of the history.
