Key Points regarding the Donation of Artifacts

I.
The National Tsinghua University Heritage Museum(hereinafter referred to as “the Museum”) has formulated these guidelines to encourage donations of artifacts, thereby enriching its collection.
II.
In accordance with the storage requirements of our library, our collection policy focuses on preservingmanuscripts, books, documents, calligraphy, and paintings.Other items may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with the approval of the Collection Review Committee.
III.
After preliminary evaluation by the museum, the cultural relics proposed for donation meet the museum’s collection guidelines and basic requirements. They can be submitted to the Collection Review Committee for further consideration.
IV.
本This museum has established a Collection Review Committee to handle matters related to the donation and acceptance of cultural relics. The appointment of committee members and the holding of meetings are carried out in accordance with Point 5 of the “Regulations on the Establishment of the National Tsinghua University Museum of Cultural Relics”.
V.
Donations of cultural relics should be madeon a voluntary basis, and a donation agreement must be signed.
VI.
The museum issues a letter of thanks to those who donate cultural relics, and provides a donation certificate detailing the items donated.However, the museum does not offer appraisal services or tax-related certification.。
VII.
Depending on operational needs, the museum may use donated items for various purposes such as display, reproduction, and creation of cultural merchandise.
VIII.
These donation terms shall come into effect after being approved by the museum’s Advisory Committee.
